The Philadelphia Union has announced it will hold Player Pathway Program (PPP) ID sessions this summer.
According to the Philadelphia Union's website, this invitation-only, club-neutral supplemental training program allows "identified talented players" to practice in line with the Philadelphia Union's player development principles and techniques.
The Player Pathway Program (PPP) supports dedicated travel players from U7-U16 (boys) and U8-U18 (girls). High-performing youth athletes selected to participate in the PPP seek high-level, supplemental training and competition to complement their current club training schedules. PPP sessions address the mental, physical, tactical, and technical aspects of soccer.
To participate, each athlete must be identified or recommended through Philadelphia Union Youth programs or Open ID Events. Selected players will be invited to join the PPP and assigned to their respective age groups within a training pool.
According to the Union's website, the following ID events will be held:
Zone 1 Boys (U7-U12)
July 10 and July 31
- 5-6 p.m.: U7, U8, U9
- 6:15–7:30 p.m.: U10 and U11
- 7:45–9 p.m.: U12
