Perfect Game All-American Classic Heading to Philly

The Perfect Game has announced that the 2026 DICK'S All-American Classic is coming to Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia this summer.

This year's All-American Classic will take place on Sunday, Aug. 16, at 5 p.m. Perfect Game CEO Rob Ponger told Fox News Digital that he is pleased to bring the event to Philly.

"It's also the 250th anniversary of America, right? Philadelphia, Philly, it's like stars, stripes, and prospects, right? 1776 to 2026, America was born 250 years ago, and the future stars of baseball are born at this event," he said.

This year marks the first time the All-American Classic is returning to the East Coast since 2005, bringing top national high school talent to the mid-Atlantic region. 

The All-American Classic features the top 60 high school players, many of whom have become first‑round picks and major leaguers. Past event participants include Bryce Harper, Francisco Lindor, Gunnar Henderson, and Bobby Witt Jr., according to an SI.com report.

According to Fox News Digital, Charlie Manuel, former Phillies manager and the franchise's all-time winningest skipper, will serve as honorary chairman of the All-American Classic.

“Philadelphia will always hold a special place in my heart,” said Manuel in an MLB news release. “To serve as honorary chairman of the Perfect Game All-American Classic at Citizens Bank Park — especially in a year when America is celebrating its 250th birthday — is a tremendous honor. There's no better baseball city, no better fans, and no better place to showcase MLB's next generation of stars.”

Besides the All-American Classic on Sunday, Perfect Game will also host the PG All-Star Game on Friday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m., along with the Launch Hydrate Home Run Challenge on Saturday, Aug. 15.

Player selections, coaching staffs, and broadcast information for the 2026 DICK'S All-American Classic will be announced at a later date.

Perfect Game is billed as the world's largest youth baseball and softball platform and scouting service.
