The Philadelphia Union Player Pathway Program (PPP) has launched its fall season with more than 30 teams across boys' and girls' divisions. This program offers talented young athletes top-tier training opportunities.

The PPP provides a unique platform for dedicated young athletes to enhance their soccer skills, experience professional training, and align with the Union's approach to player development. Beyond skills training, the PPP emphasizes mental growth, strategic thinking, and comprehensive player development.

Training sessions are held every Friday night at the WSFS Bank Sportsplex. These sessions offer high-quality, club-neutral, invite-only training opportunities that reflect the core values of the Philadelphia Union and complement club schedules.

Patrick Kelleher, the director of the Boys PPP, explained that the program aims to challenge players and foster growth technically and mentally. “We're focused on developing the complete player while staying true to the Union's methodology,” he said in a Philadelphia Union news release.

Lisa Cotter, who leads the Girls PPP, highlighted the program's holistic approach. “Every session is designed to develop players not just on the field, but as thinkers of the game. We take into account their age-specific needs, making sure they're growing in all aspects of the game,” she said.

The Philadelphia Union will hold two fall camp series: a Day Off Camp on Oct. 13 and a Black Friday Camp on Nov. 28. More information about these camps is available on the Philadelphia Union's website.
