Schwarber's Block Party will take place on Wednesday, June 11, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Yards Brewing Co. The event is organized by the Schwarbers' nonprofit, the Schwarber's Neighborhood Heroes.
According to an MLB.com report, Ryan Dempster, an MLB pitcher and analyst for MLB Network, will bring his “Off the Mound” show to Schwarber's Block Party. In addition, the event will showcase delicious food highlighting the diversity of Philly's neighborhoods, along with silent and live auctions that will include experiences, sports memorabilia, and more.
Among the dozens of items up for bidding, for fans at the event or home, are the chance to play catch with Kyle Schwarber, a Taylor-Swift autographed acoustic guitar, an Jalen Carter game day and autographed jersey, a 2024 Masters Flag signed by PGA Tour star and two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler, and a Phillies team signed helmet. Tickets for Schwarber's Block Party, including food and beverages, are available for $250 per person. Funds raised from the event will support Philadelphia-area first responders, military personnel, and members of their families. These organizations include:
- Families Behind the Badge Children's Foundation
- TAPS
- Team Foster
- The Philadelphia Fire Department Foundation
- The Philadelphia Police Foundation
Since the event was organized two years ago, more than $580,000 has been raised for Schwarber's Neighborhood Heroes.
