We have a Madden 26 cover, and it might be the best cover of all time. Saquon Barkley is the cover athlete. We knew there was only one moment the cover could highlight. The iconic reverse hurdle from the Jaguars game.

It might be the best single highlight of the season. There are bigger moments. The long run in the snow vs the Rams sticks out. But Saquon Barkley hitting someone with a spin move, and then leaping over a would-be tackle backwards, is one of the most impressive things we have seen on a Football field.

"Saquon's reverse hurdle was one of the rare, defining moments in NFL history that would have once been described as 'something out of a video game,'" said Evan Dexter, VP, Franchise Strategy & Marketing, EA SPORTS Madden NFL. "Now, it's a display of the athleticism and creativity of one of football's most electrifying athletes. Madden NFL 26 will deliver the most real NFL experience we've ever built so that players can experience more of the unreal moments that Saquon put on display all season long. The full reveal is this Wednesday – don't miss what's next."

Saquon Barkley Is Racking Up the Hardware

It is the latest in a long list of honors for Saquon. AP Offensive Player of the Year. Finalist for MVP. Rushing Champion. Super Bowl Champion. He broke Terrell Davis's Single-Season + Playoffs Rushing Record.

Now, Madden Cover athlete. Add in being in the 99 club for Madden this year, as announced alongside the release of this cover. He is the 3rd Eagle to ever join the 99 club. David Akers and Brian Dawkins have done so previously.

Barkley came up just shy of breaking the All-Time Rushing record. If he played the final week, he likely would have broken it. But the team sat him to preserve him for the playoffs, a decision that clearly panned out.

Barkley is the first Eagle to grace the cover of Madden since Donovan McNabb got the honor on Madden 06. Madden 26 releases on August 14th, but is available for pre-order today.
