NFL great Jason Kelce has joined forces with San Francisco's American Giant to bring back his Underdog brand. The April 24, 2025 launch delivers American-made shirts and sweatshirts to stores across the country.
Every piece begins with cotton grown in North Carolina before being finished in California. Prices range from $45 for basic tees to $79 for sweatshirts, along with hats featuring bold German shepherd designs.
Kelce's attention to detail comes through in every stitch. In an interview with The New York Times Kelce said, "On the inside of a sweatshirt, I don't like when it feels fuzzy... [I prefer] heavier-duty [fabric] that you can wear working or lounging around on the couch."
What began as Eagles gear in 2022 has expanded since Jason Kelce left the game. The new designs keep the classic team colors - rich hunter green mixed with cream and black touches.
This move represents a push back against fast fashion, championing American-made quality. Fans can pick up the new collection now on the website.
The collection embodies Philly's sports spirit. "Philadelphia bleeds green. If we didn't have a green shirt, it would have felt like malpractice," Kelce said.
Earlier releases drew from Eagles history, including popular items like the hoodie inspired by Kelce's passionate 2018 Super Bowl speech. Their website features pieces that honor Philly's fighting spirit.
All of Underdog Apparel’s proceeds go to the Be Philly Foundation, a nonprofit that helps support underrepresented kids across Philadelphia.
