“Kincade & Salciunas” Featured on ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown
Philadelphia Eagles fans who tuned into ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown welcomed a surprise into their living rooms.
Sal Paolantonio sat down with Saquon Barkley ahead of his return to MetLife Stadium to face the New York Giants, but ESPN also chose two more familiar voices to embody the feelings of Eagles fans reacting to one of the biggest storylines in NFL Week 7– John Kincade and Andrew Salciunas.

Kincade & Salciunas
ESPN proudly displayed the 97.5 The Fanatic logo while Andrew set the stage for Barkley’s return to the Meadowlands.
“Kincade & Salciunas, 97.5 The Fanatic. It’s Eagles-Giants, Saquon Barkley versus his old squad, and oh by the way, the Giants fans were not happy with Saquon going to the Eagles. I wouldn’t be surprised if we see the Saquon show this Sunday. The Giants literally said, ‘Oh, we’re not going to pay a running back that kind of money.’” -Andrew Salciunas
John added insight about the age-old contrast between New York and Philadelphia that characterizes the rivalries in two of the most prominent sports cities in the country.
“We closed the chapter. The glitz and the glamour of New York, that’s in the past. He’s embraced the grit and the grind that is Philadelphia, an absolute win for us.” -John Kincade
ESPN Sunday NFL Countdown used excellent looks at Eagles fans riding the Broad Street Line at the City Hall stop.
It smoothly complemented the now-infamous Hard Knocks footage of John Mara talking about his hesitancy to let Barkley sign with the rival Eagles.
Saquon Barkley
A big day for 97.5 The Fanatic went down smoothly when the Eagles crushed the Giants 28-3.
Barkley torched the Giants for 176 yards on the ground on only 17 carries.
He put the Eagles on the board in the second quarter with a 55-yard scamper through the New York secondary and a three-yard touchdown to seal the drive.
Kincade & Salciunas had plenty to say about what could be a turning point win for the 2024 season.
