The Eagles – Seahawks Week 15 Game Has Been Flexed To Monday Night Football
All season long, the Eagles have been playing in Prime Time. And now there is yet another Prime Time game on the schedule for them. The NFL flexed their week 15 game with the Seahawks to Monday Night. It is the first time a game has been flexed to Monday Night in NFL History.
That slot was originally Chiefs vs Patriots. But since the Patriots are 2-9, with recent losses to the Commanders and Giants. Not exactly the type of team you want to feature in Prime Time. They bumped that game to the 1 pm slot on Sunday, moving the Eagles from 4 pm on Sunday to Monday Night. The game is in Seattle. It closes out a road trip after they play in Dallas on Sunday Night the week before.
The Eagles have drawn big numbers all season long. Their game this past Sunday with the Bills was the highest-rated non-Thanksgiving game of the season. It beat out their game with the Chiefs the week before, which beat out their game with the Cowboys the week before that. Their 4 pm game with the Jets back in week 6 also drew huge ratings. And when you constantly put up high ratings like they do, this type of thing is going to happen. The Eagles are the biggest draw in the league this year, so moves like this should surprise no one.
After that, the Eagles have a Christmas game against the Giants. But they get a break from the Holiday and Primetime games in the final two weeks with games vs the Cardinals and Giants on the schedule. That last game against the Giants is TBD, but it is not a likely candidate to be flexed to Sunday Night.
