5 Reminders For Philadelphia Phillies Fans Before NLDS Game 3
The pivotal Game 3 of the NLDS goes down at 5 pm tonight at Citizens Bank Park. Whether Philadelphia Phillies fans are lucky enough to have tickets or just throwing a viewing party at home, I’ve got a few reminders I’m sure you don’t need before a matchup against the Atlanta Braves!
Stop Bitching On Social Media: Don’t Be So Soft.
Thankfully, it wasn’t too rampant after the Game 2 loss. I even mocked it with a tweet of my own. Stop complaining about Orlando Arcia teasing Bryce Harper after the game for the base running gaffe.
Do you think the Phillies players and every other pro locker room doesn’t have a jackass that does that when caught up in a big win? Let Bryce step up and correct the error by Arcia. Don’t be the whiners. Leave that behavior down South.
Don’t Give Spencer Strider Any Space In Your Head.
He’s a great pitcher. Fact. He is great until October against the Phillies, also a fact. Yes, he can dominate regular-season games. When the pressure is on, he has wilted twice.
You get the opportunity to help the meltdown in Game 4. I expect your best on Thursday, hopefully securing a series victory. We just loved watching Harper curse off Angel Hernandez a week ago. Complaining about Strider cursing at an umpire is really weak. To those who are bothered by it: Get over it.

Unlike at Truist Park, You’re Allowed to Get to Your Seats Before the First Pitch.
Nothing keeps you from getting to your seats before the first pitch. We all know the great spots to hang before the first pitch, but don’t be like the fans who would rather grab a $15 IPA than be ready for the actual game. This is probably a message for 15 fans. We know how to get there on time. In Atlanta, they also don’t even get in their seats for Falcons kickoffs. It just means more here.
Philadelphia Phillies Fans Shouldn’t Be Fooled by the Crowds in Atlanta.
There is no rule that requires you to sit on your hands until the home team does something good. The Book Club crowds in Atlanta spend more time on their phones and chatting. We know that you can stand on two-strike counts and when to make noise without Jumbotron prompting. Put your best foot forward tonight.
OH, And DON’T THROW TRASH!
The only two MLB postseason games that have had to be stopped because of fans throwing trash on the field in this century both happened in Atlanta. Don’t be like the casuals that act like five-year-olds. Keep it classy. They may learn and stop these embarrassing incidents from happening at their stadium.
