What’s Brewing With Jen Includes A Ten-Year-Old Bodybuilder
See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever? Jen Scordo shares a few recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that includes a ten-year-old bodybuilder can deadlift 280 pounds and a neighborhood recreational center holds a demon summoning … Here are her stories from today.
A youngster from the UK is killing bodybuilding records at the age of 10. Rowan O’Malley can deadlift 280 pounds, he can squat 220 pounds and bench 125 pounds. He claims to stick to a strict workout regimen and eats around 3,000 calories a day. That’s about 1,000 more calories than the average 10-year-old kid… A normal eating day consists of three portions of scrambled eggs, and steak or fish for dinner. Rowan says that his parents were fitness-focused since he was born, so he just kind of followed in his parent’s footsteps. He has been called the UK’s strongest person; however, he’s forbidden to compete until the official age of 12. Now I realize that he’s no Jalen Hurts, who can deadlift 620 pounds, but this young kid is well on his way!

A recreational arts center in Minnesota has held what they’re calling a family friendly demon summoning. The event was held at the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden and was a part of the Walker Art Center Free First Saturday’s and featured an artist who creates demon traps. It was all pretty tongue and cheek, but they went through a meditation to “befriend your shadows.” The whole point of the summoning was that we as a human race don’t know much about demons and since they have a bad reputation, maybe we just don’t do a good job at getting to know them. No word on whether or not the community were actually able to summon a demon or not.
