See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever? Jen Scordo shares a few recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that includes a woman who used Artificial Intelligence to catch her cheating boyfriend, but there’s a catch and a “vampire child” from the 17th century has been discovered… Here are her stories from today.

Woman Used AI To Catch Cheating Boyfriend, But There’s A Catch

Mia Dio posted a video to TikTok showing how she utilized Artificial Intelligence to catch her cheating boyfriend.  She used Artificial Intelligence software to replicate her boyfriend Billy’s voice and then used it to call one of his friends… Billy’s friend confirmed that Billy had an affair, that he witnessed Billy kissing another woman the night before.

However, Dio later admitted that it was all a farce!  That her boyfriend Billy and his friend were in on the scam.  They claimed that it was all just a social experiment.

Gross.

A “Vampire Child” From The 17th Century Has Been Discovered

A team of researchers have discovered the remains of what they’re calling a “vampire child” in a cemetery in Poland that dates back to the 1600’s.    The child was between 5 and 7 years old and was found lying face down with a padlock attached to one foot. A “vampire woman” was found in the same cemetery last year.  She had a lock on her toe and a sickle that appeared to restrain her neck.  Researchers say that the locks were meant to “protect against the return of the deceased.” Evidently, the practice of padlocking the deceased is believed to be described as anti-vampiric in folklore.  The bodies were all buried face down, that suggests that the “vampires” would bite the earth in their afterlife instead of harming the living.

OktoBEARfest At The Philadelphia Zoo: Know Before You Go

The Fall event season is just weeks away. The Philadelphia Zoo just announced the region's first big Oktoberfest celebration, OktoBEARfest.

The event is back for the first time since 2018. The Philadelphia Zoo presents OktoBEARfest on Saturday, September 16, 2023!

The revamped event will feature an exclusive "after-hours" night for the grown-ups at the first Zoo in America. While you're there, enjoy a Bavarian Beer Hall, live music from local DJs, and Philly’s Premier Polka Band, Polkadelphia. There will be more than 100 seasonal craft beers and ciders to sample, and of course, some BEAR-y amazing animals.

It's like a classic Oktoberfest event but with a really WILD twist. Sip your craft beer and stroll around the Zoo. See all of the Zoo's 1,900 rare and endangered animals in some really amazing exhibits. It'll be pretty temperate weather, too, so you won't sweat your animal-themed face paint off. And while the event is geared toward beer, there will be tons of food, too! It's a fun Fall event.

Tickets are on sale now. Don't miss one of the biggest beer festivals of the Fall season! Celebrate Fall with OktoBEARfest at the Philadelphia Zoo.

Here are some things you oughta know about the event:
