See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever? Jen Scordo shares a few recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that includes Carrie Underwood is returning to Sunday Night Football and Chiefs fans named their babies after their head football coach, Andy Reid… Here are her stories from today.
Carrie Underwood Will Return to Sunday Night Football
This will be the 11th year in a row that Carrie Underwood will be singing her way into Sunday Night Football. Sunday Night Football comes your way on September 10th when the Dallas Cowboys battle the New York Giants. She plans on having an updated version of “Waiting All Day For Sunday Night.” I can only assume that many Eagles players will be included, especially Jalen Hurts. A preview of the show open will debut tonight before the Hall of Fame Game. The new Sunday Night Football theme was filmed at The Resorts World Theater in Las Vegas, which is where Carried Underwood has her residency.

Kansas City Chiefs Fans Name Their Babies After Their Favorite Head Coach
We have our share of diehard football fans in our fine city of Philadelphia. But this is even a little crazy for Eagles fans… Brian and Amy Ettleman, huge Kansas City Chief fans from Iowa decided after having their first son in 2020 – after the Chiefs won the Super Bowl – that they were going to name him after their favorite head coach… They tossed around the idea of naming him Patrick, after Patrick Mahomes of course, even Kelce if it was a girl. They settled on Andy instead, naming him after Big Red.
Andy Charles Ettleman was born. Charles is Brian’s father’s name, so it all worked out quite well. Fast forward to 2023 and after another (sigh…) Chiefs Super Bowl championship, the couple was expecting again. They knew instantly they would name him Reid. So now they are Andy and Reid. The Ettlemans don’t plan on having any more children, but friends say they need to continue so the Chiefs continue to win Super Bowls.

97.5 The Fanatic's 2023 Charity Golf Classic [GALLERY]
The 97.5 The Fanatic Charity Golf Classic 2023 took place at Turtle Creek Golf Course in Limerick, PA on Monday, July 31.
The John Kincade Show and The Anthony Gargano Show broadcasted live from the course.
The morning started off with Citadel Credit Union donating $5,000 to benefit the newly-created John Kincade Scholarship Fund.
The morning and midday broadcasts got some reinforcements as the day went along. The Fanatic staff showed up in full force.
Devon Givens fought through a recent injury to come hang out in the station’s tent area. Bob Cooney even showed up for 18 holes during a week’s vacation from work. Tyrone Johnson and Jennifer Scordo joined the party too.
Tommy Greene joined his former teammate Ricky Bottalico for a 1990s Philadelphia Phillies reunion. Philadelphia Flyers radio play-by-play announcer Tim Saunders also teamed up with Pat Egan for a great duo.
The beautiful, breezy day on the links came as somewhat of a surprise during the dog days of summer. The cool weather and a few Arnold Palmer Spiked Iced Teas kept the crowd happy.
The scramble style required golfers to play the best ball of any of their teammates on a given hole.
The day quickly became a success, despite the interesting debates over everyone’s preference for their favorite color of Philadelphia Eagles. The release of the Kelly Green gear spurred some competition against the Midnight Green style of the modern (and more successful) era.
John Kincade, a two-time cancer survivor about to win his third battle, emceed the final activities of the day before all attendees sat down for a solid meal after a long day.
Events like the Fanatic Charity Golf Classic bring the opportunity for the Fanatic staff to interact with station listeners for an excellent cause and an altogether great experience.
