See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever? Jen Scordo shares a few recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that includes a hawk that’s terrorizing a Texas town and a teenager with a tail is considered a “Hindu Monkey God”… Here are her stories from today.
The residents of the Travis Heights community in Texas are required to pick up their mail at their local post office because a hawk is terrorizing the local postal workers. The town has totally suspended its mail service because of the hawk. Travis Heights is located outside of Austin, Texas. Parks and Wildlife experts assume that the hawk is actively protecting its young and that’s why it’s causing havoc. They also mention that the residents will just have to wait it out until the young hawks are old enough to fly on their own. The hawk has a nest in a tree in one neighborhood of Travis Heights and is literally dive-bombing residents and postal workers. You can watch the video by clicking the link above.

The 14-year-old named Suresh lives in India and has a long tail of hair. Local residents have started calling him a “Hindu Monkey God.” The hairy tail is 2 feet long and braided. The young boy has been living with a large patch of black hair near his tailbone and over the years, the hair has grown into one very long rat-tail. The community has started to compare him to Hindu God Shri Hanuman, a god that has a long monkey tail. The poor kid hates the tail, I’m sure I would too… His brother once tried to cut it off, but Suresh became very sick, however, the tail causes him physical pain as well. Some doctors have suggested that the tail is a result of a rare genetic condition. Although another doctor suggested that the condition may have resulted from a lack of nutrients during his mother’s pregnancy.

Here Are The Delaware Valley’s Favorite Ice Cream Flavors
Sunday, July 16 is National Ice Cream Day 2023. To celebrate, here are the Delaware Valley's favorite ice cream flavors.
A study by Scholaroo.com looked at each state's online shopping data to determine their favorite flavor of ice cream. Each state was then given a list of its top 5 favorite flavors.
We all love ice cream. You can say you don't, but you're a liar. Especially now that there are low-sugar AND dairy-alternative ice creams. There is a variation of ice cream for everyone. There is a flavor for everyone. You literally cannot do wrong with a cone (or a bowl, or a cup, or a plate...you get the point) of ice cream. It's a great addition to any dessert. It's great on its own. Whether it's summer or winter, you're going to want ice cream.
It's no wonder each state has its favorites. Ice cream flavors are a rather divisive topic. To mint chocolate chip...or to not mint chocolate chip? People get really opinionated when it comes to the creamy treat. Instead, though, we should all bond over our mutual love. It's a great treat that works to cool your down and make you smile.
Here are the Delaware Valley's favorite ice cream flavors:
Delaware
Starting off strong with some pretty basic flavors in The First State's top 3. No vanilla, but that's okay, we respect the grind. Cookie Dough and rocky road are also both very solid choices.
New Jersey
Chocolate is also first in The Garden State. It's a super basic and yummy flavor, so they get a pass. It seems this is just Delaware's list but scrambled.
Pennsylvania
Rocky Road beats out Chocolate on this list. Who knew rocky road had so much clout?
