What’s Brewing With Jen And A Naked Man
See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever Jen Scordo shares 3 recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that includes the Florida Panthers ban Leafs fans from buying playoff tickets, a naked man was pulled from a canal after running from police and over 200 people applied to be a “seagull scarer” at a zoo… Here are her stories from today.
Florida Panther Ban Leafs Fans From Buying Playoff Tickets
You know I love a petty move, and this is the pettiest of petty! But it all makes sense in the end… The Florida Panthers hockey team has restricted anyone from Canada from purchasing tickets to any round 2 game at FLA Live Arena, that way only their fans will fill the seats. Ticketmaster said, “Orders by residents outside of the United States will be canceled without notice and refunds given.” They are basing the status on the credit card billing statements. However the ban only lasted one day, on Monday, so Canadians that want to purchase tickets were able to do so yesterday. I love this. Game 1 was last night and the Panthers won 4-2.

In Lewiston, Pennsylvania, police received several calls about a man running around naked, even running into and out of local businesses. As police tried to apprehend him, he jumped into a nearby canal and tried to swim away. It took 2 dozen rescue workers to pull the naked man out of the canal. He had to be airlifted up the the sidewalk and was transported to the hospital. Police say this is not the 1st time they’ve dealt with this particular naked man.

A Zoo In The UK Is Hiring A Seagull Scarer
Blackpool Zoo had over 200 people apply to be the zoo’s official seagull scarer. The zoo decided to hire the scarer after seagulls have been stealing food from visitors and the animal enclosures. They’ve had people apply from the US, Australia, India, Uganda and even Ukraine. Many applicants have sent in pictures of themselves dressed as birds, bananas and pineapples proving they can fulfill the job. There are 5 positions available for about $20 an hour. The posting says the scarer needs to be outgoing and comfortable wearing a bird costume.
