What’s Brewing With Jen

See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on The Best Show Ever Jen Scordo shares 3 recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that included the Cocaine Bear officiating a wedding, science proves that someone alive today will live to be 150 years old and in contrast, a virtual reality “death simulator” will show you what happens when you die … Here are her stories from today.

A couple in Kentucky are such big fans of Cocaine Bear that they decided to have him officiate their wedding.  Granted it was a stuffed and mounted bear, but it was inspired by the movie.  The bear is normally located a local museum and even donned a top hat for the occasion.

Scientist say that someone who is alive today will live to be 150 years old.  Steven Cohen, who owns a wellness clinic in California and London says he’s only 5 years away from using stem cell therapy to de-age people.  He claims that with his therapy, someone who is alive today could live to be 150 years old.  The oldest person on record was Jeanne Calmet, who lived to be 122 years old, she passed away in 1997 and supposedly sold canvasses to Vincent Van Gogh.

And finally, a virtual reality “death simulator” will show you what happens when you die.  The “Passing Storms” virtual reality experience developed by artist Shaun Gladwell takes you through cardiac arrest to brain death… it also features an out of body experience that will allow you to look down on your “dead body.”  You can quit the simulator at anytime if it becomes too much.
