Which Eagles assistant coach has made the biggest impact this season?

Jeff Stoutland and his new contract extension won with 59.8% of votes
I’m not surprised as this is the best offensive line in football. They continue to dominate year after year while young talent steps in to produce regularly. The left side of Jason Kelce pancakes the opposition consistently. It’s scary to think about their future. It’s been YEARS since Lane Johnson allowed a sack. Stoutland is by far one of the most popular coaches on staff. The ironic part is, when comparing this year to other years, it feels like the least amount of juggling Stoutland had to do with players. Which raises the question… did he make the most impact THIS season?
Finishing second was Jonathan Gannon with 18.5% votes
That feels like a nice finish for JG knowing how many fans hate his style. Some voters said they chose a different coach because they credit the talent on defense more than Gannon. That’s super unfair considering the defensive coordinator’s job is to put these players in a position to succeed and that’s what his unit has done all year. Good for Gannon! I’ve personally turned the corner on his frustrating ways we’ve seen. I’m currently watching quarterbacks run for their life basically every snap.
In third place, Shane Steichen.
This offense is so layered with so many threats. Is Jalen Hurts going to run? Is it a handoff to Sanders? Goodluck stopping Kelce! Is that AJ Brown I see on the outside with a favorable matchup? Pick your poison. That’s the statement I believe every defensive coordinator says when trying to come up with a game plan to “stop” the Eagles. There is no stopping them and teams clearly struggle to slow anything down. Steichen has improved everything since receiving play-calling duties.
Brian Johnson came last with 4.2%
I’m not surprised Brian Johnson finished last just based on how much coordinators are talked about. Let’s not act like Jalen Hurts’ improvement happened overnight though. Johnson played high school football for Hurts’ dad and even tried recruiting Jalen to Mississippi State. There’s a true relationship and bond they have which is hard to replicate organically. Hurts went from Todd Bowles showing the NFL world his glaring flaws to MVP candidate in the Super Bowl. We talked about John DeFilippo nonstop when Carson Wentz was balling out. The same applies here. I think Johnson is going to climb the ranks quickly.
