Let the Outsiders Talk, Our Team is In the Super Bowl
Over the course of the NFL season, many experts, pundits, and opinionmakers have had a really tough time giving credit to the Philadelphia Eagles. And now that they are playing in the final game of the campaign. With the right to hoist the Lombardi trophy on the line. Nothing much has changed. Here’s an unpopular opinion in regard to what these outsiders have to say… Who cares? Let them!
Sure, it could all be because of the hate that’s regularly directed toward the city of Philadelphia, its teams, and its fanbase. Whatever the excuse is for that collection of people, it shouldn’t concern you as a fan. You know who you are as fans.
Let them all the outsiders band together and wallow in their own misery while the Eagles and others stand up at the end with the trophy of their respective sport. The Birds are good, maybe even great. So are the Phillies. And, we’ll find out soon enough what the 76ers have as they make another run as a championship contender. You know the Sixers/Joel Embiid haters will be in full force once the playoffs and award season roll around.
February 12th in Arizona has a chance to be a special day and a possible glimpse of what your team’s future will be as they play for a second Super Bowl victory. So, let Giants safety Julian Love say what he wants about head coach Nick Sirianni while on a football show discussing the Bowl. Because his team failed at their job. It’s cool to look nice and throw jabs on tv since his offseason has started.Remind Chris Simms how wrong he is on social media. Allow him to look foolish in front of a national audience like he has. All because he can’t admit that he was wrong about Jalen Hurts. Imagine standing on that after his great season.
On Thursday during his media availability, Eagles veteran defensive end Brandon Graham said it best when it comes to Love’s comments.
“People always got something to say when they at home, they got some stuff to think about… It definitely carried no weight cause coach prove himself each and every day.”
