Every wednesday ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter joins the John Kincade Show to discuss all things NFL. In the middle of the call he broke some news, BIG NEWS. Tom Brady is retiring from the NFL.

This announcement comes exactly one year after the future Hall of Famer announced his retirement the first time. Ultimately Brady decided to return for his 23rd season. Brady looked uncharateric in his final season. He threw for 4,694 yards with 25 touchdowns and 9 interceptions but he finally seemed to look his age. He also dealt with personal matters through the season that could have hindered his performance.

Brady, a 6th round pick in the 2000 draft, rose to prominence in the 2002 season when then Patriots starter Drew Bledsoe was knocked out of a game against the Jets. Brady took over and led the Patriots on a Super Bowl run. He went on to win 7 Super Bowls. It wouldve been 8 but Brandon Graham strip sacked him in 2018 and it led to the Eagles upsetting the Patriots 41-33.

He is a 1st ballot Hall of Famer, arguably the greatest of all time.

Question of the Day-What Were You Most Wrong About With the Eagles

The Eagles are in the Super Bowl. And if you had told us that would be the case 6 months ago, it probably would have been a bit surprising. But from early in the season, it became clear this team was special. They crushed both teams in their path in the playoffs. Not because they were lucky, but because they were just that good. But, we did not know they were this good before the season. Most of us saw a much-improved team, but not the best team in the league. And we were wrong. Which is why the question of the day today on The Best Show Ever was, what were you the most wrong about when it comes to this Eagles team?

Maybe it is Jalen Hurts. There were a lot of Eagles fans not too confident in him coming into the season. Many of us at the station were guilty of it. Several people were even heavy on the train to make a trade for Russell Wilson. But Jalen Hurts didn’t just improve, he turned into a Super Star. He is an MVP finalist. While the award will likely go to Patrick Mahomes, especially after Jalen Hurts missed time with an injured shoulder, it is still quite the feat considering where he was coming from.

Or perhaps it was Jonathan Gannon. Besides Hurts no one on this team faced more questions coming into the year. But with a new defense, stacked with talent, he turned a struggling defense into one of the best in the league. Though in his case, there are still many doubters who think the defense is good in spite of him.

Here are the answers we got from you on Twitter…

  • Jalen Hurts

Jalen Hurts was the most common answer we got. Which makes sense. Even if you believed in him, it was hard to forsee a jump this big before the season.

  • Howie Roseman

Howie Roseman has gotten a ton of hate over the years. Many wanted him fired years ago. But you have to tip your cap to the guy. He had a tremendous off-season. And the reason this team is stacked with talent from top to bottom is him.

  • Nick Sirianni

At first glance, Nick Sirianni can look very goofy. He comes off as bumbling in his press conferences. But man has he done a great job this year. Even if the national media did not think so to name him a finalist for Coach of the Year. He coached this team to the best record in the NFL and has them in the Super Bowl. Oh, and it is only his 2nd season.

  • Nothing

And some fans apparently believed in them all along. or at least so they claim.
