The Eagles beat the Falcons the Next Week To Finally Make The Superbowl
Eagles fans were used to playing in the NFC Championship game at this point. We had the scars to prove it. They were coming off 3 straight NFC Championships, and 3 straight losses. But against Mike Vick and the Falcons, they finally broke through. It was a bitterly cold game, that was played on the back of a major snowstorm. But while the weather clearly hurt the Falcons, the Eagles thrived. They won 27-10. And from this game, Andrew grabbed the Dorsey Levens TD, and a postgame interview between Terry Bradshaw and Brian Dawkins.
Eagles Fall to the Patriots in the 2004-2005 Superbowl
Unfortunately, the Eagles ran into a dynasty in the Superbowl. Even though Terrell Owens returned to player d a great game despite the injury, the Eagles still lost to the Patriots by a final of 24-21. it was the Patriots’ 3rd Superbowl in 4 years. But the Eagles did have the initial lead. Andrew pulled that LJ Smith TD that gave Eagles fans false hope out of the Audio Vault today, as well as the introduction to the game. It also sent Anthony off on a rant about how those cheating Patriots somehow got away with Spy Gate.
