What’s Brewing with Jen- Eagles Thank Dougie P With Cheesesteaks
See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today. Every day on “The Best Show Ever?” she shares 3 recent weird and interesting news stories. Today that included a story about the Eagles sending Dougie P some cheesesteaks, a new world record featuring a very festive beard, and an interesting discovery in Peru. Here are her stories from today.
Eagles Thank Dougie P With Cheesesteaks
Doug Pederson helped his former team a ton on Sunday when his Jaguars came back to beat the Cowboys. In a game they once trailed by multiple touchdowns, the Jags came back, forced OT, and then won it on a pick 6. It put the Eagles just 1 win or Cowboys loss away from winning the NFC East and the one seed in the NFC. And to thank Dougie P, the Eagles sent a little slice of Philly to him. They called up “Philly’s Finest” in Jacksonville and placed an order for 35 cheesesteaks, and 25 orders of fires, to send over to TIAA Bank Field for Dougie P and the Jaguars.
Beard Decorated With Over 700 Christmas Ornaments Sets New World Record

He decorated his beard with 710 Christmas ornaments, making his face look like an incredibly festive Christmas tree. In fact, he has a thing for setting records for sticking things in his beard. He also holds the record for most paper straws in a beard (534), most straws in a beard (312), most chopsticks in a beard (520), most golf tees in a beard (607), most forks in a beard (126), most toothpicks in a beard (3,500), most clothespins on a beard (359) and most chopsticks put into a beard in one minute (86). Not sure if there is anyone he is really competing with for these records though.
168 Geoglyphs Discovered in Peru’s Nazca Lines

These glyphs are unusual because usually these types of glyphs can only be seen from the air. But these ones were small enough that they could be spotted from the ground.
