SYDNEY, NSW – JANUARY 24: A Stonefish (centre) is pictured at Oceanworld Aquarium January 24, 2006 in Sydney, Australia. The Stonefish is well camouflaged in the ocean, as it is a brownish colour, and often resembles a rock. It has thirteen sharp dorsal spines on its back, which each have extremely toxic venom, which can cause extreme local pain and tissue damage, respiratory distress, which can lead to cardiovascular shock that can be fatal if no medical treatment is sought. There have been no recorded human deaths in Australia due to the development of an antivenin in 1959. Australia is home to some of the most deadly and poisonous animals on earth.

Today she had one about a venomous fish ruining a couple's honeymoon, figgy-pudding-flavored spam, and Budweiser making a promise to whatever country wins the World Cup. Here are today's stories.
Figgy Pudding Spam
Holidays bring more than glad tidings and cold weather. It also brings an assortment of holiday-flavored twists on our favorite foods. Much of that is just adding mint to things when it comes to Christmas. but now Spam is getting involved. But it isn't candy cane bits that they are added to their pork product, thankfully. But is what they are actually doing any better? Because they have released figgy pudding-flavored spam. According to one writer for Today, it is actually pretty good and is essentially just spiced, Ham. But if you want to find out yourself, you will have to go to Spam.com or Walmart to try it for yourself.
Budweiser Offers Warehouse Full of Beer To World Cup Winner
Qatar threw a wrench into Budweisers plans on the eve of the World Cup with their last-second decision to ban beer sales in the stadiums. Budweiser is the official beer sponsor of the World Cup, and has been for a while now. They had already made all the preparations to have a ton of beer available for patrons at the World Cup. But now they can't sell it. That left them with a large surplus of beer. But they know just what to do with it all. They are offering to give that full warehouse worth of beer, to whatever team ends up winning the World Cup.
Venomous Fish Ruins Couples Honeymoon
The Stonefish is one of the most venomous fishes in the world. I tis also a major buzzkill. For instance, it ruined Amy Thomson's honeymoon. When her and her new husband took their honeymoon in the Indian Ocean. And at one point on a snorkleing trip she had the unforunataste displeasure of meeting one of these fish. It stung her foot as she jumped into the water, instantly ruining her vacation.
“I came straight back to the shore … that is when I honestly have never had that much pain in my life. I looked at my foot, and it had already doubled in size. It was all swollen. I looked underneath my foot, and it had gone all blue and white.”
Stonefish have spines along their back and head that are their main tool for administering their venom. Very useful for keeping predators away. Very unfortunate for any person who accidentally steps on them. And their shape and color make them experts at blending into the ocean floor, making it very easy to not see them before it is too late.
