The Anthony Gargano Show – Weekdays 10am – 2pm

Weekdays 10am-2pm

PHILADELPHIA - NOVEMBER 02: Hideki Matsui #55 of the New York Yankees hits a pinch hit single in the top of the ninth inning against the Philadelphia Phillies in Game Five of the 2009 MLB World Series at Citizens Bank Park on November 2, 2009 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Yankees won 8-6.

The Astros beating the Phillies in the World Series has some people way down in the dumps. The mood around town has ranged from somber, to depressed, and for some, anger. A tremendous run ended in heartbreak. But as Philly fans, we are used to heartbreak. We have been taking our lumps for years. But Anthony and Andrew saw how in despair people have been in and wanted to have a therapy session. So Anthony put together his list of the 25 worst moments from his memory in Philly sports history. Starting with 25, and counting down to 19 on the list today.

His thinking, we need to rip this band-aid off and put ourselves through this difficult therapy. That way we can get through it, and be ready by Monday to be excited again when the Eagles season continues. So today, and for the rest of the week, Andrew and Anthony counted down the top 25 list of awful moments. Andrew pulled those moments out of the Audio Vault, so we could relive them together, and get past our despair. And that started today with the first 7 moments on the list.

Here is the lineup of what they played in the Audio Vault today, to start Anthony’s list of the worst Philly Sports moments…
