The Phillies season is now officially over after a long run into the month of November. So now the Philadelphia Eagles are back at the forefront of many fans' minds. After their 12-point victory over the Houston Texans last Thursday night, the Eagles remain the only undefeated team in Pro Football. And certainly have their eyes set on a deep run like their fellow South Philadelphia residents at the Sports Complex.

Sporting an 8-0 record, the Birds look to continue to add to that number when they host divisional opponent Washington Commanders next Monday. The attention is now shifting to football. Baseball and soccer are complete, and basketball and hockey just getting underway. A lot of the conversation is starting to lean toward the Eagles having an undefeated season. First things first, Philadelphia really needs to take a game-by-game approach in regards to the rest of this campaign. The rest of the teams on the schedule will be looking to knock them off of their undefeated perch. If the lowly Texans and their performance was any indication of how hard teams are going to play against the Eagles, they have to be ready every single week.

Especially for some of the teams that will be heading to the offseason early that may be their Super Bowl. As for the potential playoff teams -- New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Tennessee Titans, and maybe the Green Bay Packers -- they would be looking to send a message in the event that they meet in the postseason to let them know that they are not afraid of the Big Bad Birds. Led by veterans who were part of the Super Bowl team and a young but respected quarterback in Jalen Hurts, it would seem hard to believe that this group of players and the coaching staff would allow them to look past any opponent.

It's hard to win in the NFL and the Philadelphia Eagles have done a tremendous job so far. Now, let's see what they're really made of when these teams are coming at them with everything they have.
