whats brewing with jen- hangover cures

See what was brewing with Jen Scordo today! Every day she shares 3 recent news stories. Today she had one about a scientist claiming to have the best hangover cure, a man who woke from a coma with a new talent, and a woman who thinks she is living in the 1970s. Here are today's stories.

Man Wakes Up From Coma With Newfound Artistic Abilities

Moe Hunter never was very artistic. But then a medical crisis forced him into a coma for over a month. When he recovered he had no memory, but he did gain a new ability. He suddenly found himself inspired to create art. Drawings, replicas of pop culture items like R2-D2, and creating his own comic books. Moe says he never would have even approached doing things like this before his coma. And now he is just enjoying it as a gift.

Illness Makes Woman Believe She is in the 70s

Alison Winterburn woke up one morning not recognizing herself in the mirror. She was expecting to see her young self from the 70s, but instead, she saw herself as she looks today. It turns out, she was suffering from a virus that caused inflammation in her brain. While that issue was fixed, it left scarring on her brain which has led to the gap in her memory.

“I was genuinely shocked to see a middle-aged lady looking back at me and not the youngster I expected. For a long time I wouldn't allow my husband to buy the newspaper because I was horrified by the inflated prices. I couldn't quite comprehend the time jump between the era I thought I was living in and my twenty-first century reality."
