See what Anthony Gargano has to say in his opening diatribe this morning...

MV3, MV3, MV3!

Oh my god! (starts slamming the table). Two wins away, Two wins Choonis!

My god, what a night last night at Citizen's Bank Park. The Brutes on Broad! And they came up in a huge way last night. Beginning with the MVP, the MV3, Bryce Harper yet again. Is he the greatest baseball player we have ever seen, the greatest hitter we have ever seen? The most brilliant thing about it, and Smoltz who has been terrific on the broadcast completely dialed it in. He said watch, he is going to be sitting off speed. Because McCullers only throws his fastball 21% of the time, and he isn't going to challenge Bryce. So Bryce goes up and is sitting breaking pitch. And oh my god, he just crushed it.

I had the same vibe when he stepped up to the plate as when he stepped up vs San Diego when he shot one to the opposite field to put them up 4-1. I'm thinking he is going to go yard again. You could feel it. The whole ballpark felt it. And he just crushed that freaking ball. My lord, it was incredible. And then they just kept bombing away. marsh takes one out. Rhys. Schwarbomb hits a mile to dead-center field off the batter's eye. This is awesome.

And the Ranger! Ranger, Ranger, Ranger! The composure that kid had on the mound. They could never barrel up. He was changing speeds, hitting all his spots. He's sneaky. He has good sneaky stuff. So he is making the hitter look high, then low. He is changing their eye. To nerd out, he was just incredible. What a night at Citizens Bank Park. And the Fighting Phillies, two wins away from a parade down Broad Street.
