Today she had open about Phillies fans breaking a record for LCS merchandise sales, a new study that suggest eating cheese before bed will give you nightmares, and another about a man who landed a role as a dead body on CSI. Here are her stories from today.
Phillies Fans Break Record for LCS Merchandise Sales
Philadelphia is a little bit excited about this Phillies team. So much so, they broke a record for the most LCS merchandise sold over a 24- hour period. The previous record was held by the Cubs after they beat the Dodgers to break a drought that went back to 1945. The Phillies' drought was not that long, but it did go back to 2009. The Phillies and- Astros also broke the combined record, although the article didn't state how much of that was the Phillies or the Astros.
Eating Cheese Before Bed May Give You Nightmares
Many people love to enjoy a glass of wine, and some cheese just before bed. But according to one new study, unless you want to have some bad dreams, you may want to cut out the cheese part. It has long been considered an old wives tale, but its roots come from real science. Cheese is high in amino acids, which it turns out can disrupt our sleep cycle, causing us to have weird dreams. The same study also looked into old wives' tales, and they also found that eating carrots really can help you see in the dark. Well, technically they just help keep your eyes healthy overall. So ditch the cheese at night, and eat carrots before bed instead.
Man Pretends to Be Dead So Well It Lands Him Role On CSI
Josh Nalley's claim to fame on TikTok was playing dead. For almost a year, he would post one video of him pretending to be dead. It was something he got really good at. He said when he first started you could see him breathing. But now he says he is so good he can seem completely lifeless. And that all paid off after CSI offered him a role to play a dead body on the long-running crime procedural. Josh will be playing a dead body in an upcoming episode of CSI: Vegas.
