The Audio Vault- The Ultimate Phillies Montage

Tomorrow the World Series begins, Phillies vs Astros. One team the favorite to make it here all along. The other is the team with one of the longest odds to advance all the way through the playoffs to this point. Tomorrow night at 8 pm it begins. But before we get there, Andrew Salciunas took one more deep dive into the Audio vault, to put together the Ultimate Phillies montage.

How did the Phillies get here? Andrew took us from when Bryce Harper signed here. The hiring of Gabe Kapler. Followed by all of his nonsense leading to the firing of Gabe Kapler. Then the Phillies hiring Joe Girardi. Girardi being fired during this year. And all the highs and lows of this season. Think Alec Bohm and Matt Vierling going back to back off Josh Hader. The tag team HRs from Bryce Harper and Bryson Stott to beat the Angels. The Phillies beating the Astros in game 160 to end the playoff drought.

And then the playoffs. Their comeback in game 1 against the Cardinals. Aaron Nola's great performance in game 2, Bryce Harper's solo shot, and Alec Bohm's great plays at the hot corner. Into the Braves series with moments like Rhys Hoskins' mammoth 3-run blast, and JT Realmuto's inside-the-park homer, and them winning game 4 to eliminate the Braves. And everything that happened in the Padres series, all of course leading up to Harper having the "swing of his life", and Ranger closing it out to send them to the World Series.
