Today she had one about Tennessee asking for help to fix their goalposts after the fans stormed the field, a man who lost access to $1.8 million worth of Bitcoin, and one about a couple who got matching tattoos on their first date. Here are here stories from today.
Tennessee Wants Your Help to Fix Their Goal Posts
In a college football season already full of upsets, Tennessee may have pulled off the best one yet. They took down the Juggernaut that is Alabama. They led 28-10 at one point, but then Alabama pulled back into it. And then a fumble return put Bama up 49-42. but it was Tennesse's chance to make the comeback. Alabama missed a 50-yard FG with a chance to take a lead. And when the Vols kicker got his own chance to win it, he did not miss. As you would suspect, the fans stormed the field. But they perhaps partied a little too hard. Fans not only pulled down the goalposts, but they carried them to dump them into the river.
And now the University is asking for help to replace the goalpost.
My question is, I went to college. I know how much they charge in Tuition. And I still get calls from Rutgers all the time asking me to donate more. That university has so much money at its disposal, especially for the Football program. Do they really need all that help paying for new goalposts?
Woman Films Herself And PArtner Getting Matching Tattoos on First Date
Getting matching tattoos with your partner is always risky. Sly Stallone recently found that out when he recently had to cover up a tattoo when him and his long-time wife split. But getting a matching tattoo on your first date? That is like betting on +10000 odds. But that is exactly what the woman, and her date, did. She even filmed it. And when she posted the video, it turns out it is something apparently a lot of people have done. The comments section was full of people sharing similar stories.
The saving grace is the tattoo was not the other person's name or anything that is personal to their date. If the relationship does not work out, the tattoo can just be another tattoo. Meanwhile, Stallone had to cover up the tattoo of his ex-wife's face with one of his dog's face.
Man Loses Access to Account With $1.8 Million Worth of Bitcoin
We have all had that moment where we realize we lost money. Maybe you realize you accidentally dropped a $20 bill somewhere. But imagine misplacing $1.8 million. One user took to TikTok to tell the tale of how he lost access to $1.8 million worth of Bitcoin. The Bitcoin is linked to an old Hotmail account. And he does know the password, but he does not remember the security question, nor does he have the same phone number. And because someone else tried to log on to his account he is now locked out. And he just can not remember what he answered to the security question "who is your best friend?"
That is bad for this guy who now has lost $1.8 million. But imagine how the guy who went from being this guy's best friend in 2005 to being a dude who he can't even remember the name of.
