What a weekend. Phillies advanced to the NLCS. The Eagles Beat the Cowboys. it may have been the best weekend in Philly sports history, outside of the Super Bowl. Phillies Crush the Braves in Game 3
The Weekend started with game 3 against the Braves. The series was tied 1-1. It was the first playoff game in Philly since 2011. And the crowd was rocking. Phillies ended up winning it easily 9-1. It was a game Phillies fans won't soon forget. Rhys Hoskins redeeming himself with a blast and a bat spike. Nola pitching a gem. All to put the Phillies up 2-1 in the series. There would not be a game 5. The Phillies rewarded their fans by letting them see the clinching win at home. Noah Syndergaard gave them 3 solid innings, and the bullpen locked it down from there. The vats stayed hot, and got to celebrate for the third time this year as they finished off the Braves, kept the great weekend going, and advanced to the NLCS. Eagles Cap off The Best Weekend Ever By Beating The Cowboys
And of course, the best weekend ever ended with the Eagles sending the Cowboys packing with a loss. the Eagles remain the only undefeated team in the league. It got a bit too close for comfort, but the Eagles finished out the win. And it was all the sweeter given that it was the Cowboys.
