I'm not a believer in doing almost anything halfway. Go bold or go home. Sunday night I believe the Eagles are putting the NFC East race to bed. The Dallas Cowboys are about to understand what the Sirianni led Eagles are all about. I believe they will be all about revenge! Last year the Cowboys had their fun at the expense of the Eagles, that gets reversed on Sunday.

In handicapping this matchup the Dallas defense has been championed by the national media. Strangely I’ve heard little about the Eagles defense. One defense on Sunday night has a huge advantage, that is the Eagles. Dallas has to face the Eagles offense, period.

The Eagles facing Cooper Rush on Sunday night is a huge edge. The Cowboys facing Jalen Hurts is not. Dallas hasn’t managed to create much offensive pressure on opponents, they also haven’t faced many impressive offenses. That changes at the Linc!

It’s hard to imagine Mike McCarthy winning many chess matches. Nick Sirianni and his staff are showing versatility in designing game plans and adjusting on the fly. The Eagles ability to shut down what the opposing team wants to do on offense gives me great confidence going into this matchup.

The Eagles will score early and put the Dallas offense behind the 8 ball. Jordan Davis will dominate to squash the run and make the Cowboys offense one dimensional. That is where Jonathan Gannon and their defense will steal the headlines from Dan Quinn.

Eagles will roll to a 27-13 (or more) win. They will be 6-0. They will head to the bye week with huge dreams. Save this, copy it, call me on it. My confidence level hasn’t been higher on an Eagles team in the Dallas matchup in years. Dak Prescott is an impressive passer. He won’t be playing. They will recognize how much they need him back after this game.

if you aren’t a believer yet, you will be on Sunday night. I’ll talk to you Monday!
