The Phillies advanced, the Eagles won, the Union clinched the top seed, and the Mets lost. What a great weekend for Philadelphia. And if living through it the first time wasn't enough, Andrew Salciunas gathered the best moments from the great weekend, to play for us today in the Audio Vault. Here was the lineup from today's edition of the Audio Vault.

Montage from Phillies winning Game 1

The great weekend started Friday at 2:07. Well to be fair, it started closer to 5 pm. Because the game didn't start well for the Phillies. They were held scoreless through the first 8 innings. And while the Phillies pitchers did a mostly good job shutting the Cardinals down. Jose Alvarado did make one mistake, which let the Cardinals go up 2-0. But then the top of the 9th happened. And the Phillies roared back. They scored 6 runs in the half inning, thanks to several walks, a hit-by-pitch, and then some timely hitting. And Andrew gathered the best moments from that comeback, to play in today's Vault.

Phillies Clinch the Series in Game 2

Game 2 was tense as well. But for different reasons. While they trailed in game 1, they had the lead from the second inning on in game 2. Bryce Harper got them on the board early by crushing a Miles Mikolas curve ball into right field. And Aaron Nola dominated the Cardinals righty heavy lineup. But the Phillies didn't add much else. A Kyle Schwarber sac fly was the only other ruin they scored. But it turned out 2 runs were enough. Alvarado, Seranthony Dominguez, and Zach Eflin all followed Nola's lead. And the Phillies won game 2, clinching the series, to advance to the NLDS. Andrew pulled the best moments from game 2 to play for us today in the Vault.

The Stinking Mets Are Eliminated

The Phillies winning was great, but the cherry on top was that the Mets were eliminated. They lost a 3 game series in their own ballpark to the San Diego Padres. Keith Hernandez can suck it. The Mets season ending was the perfect way to cap off a great weekend. And Andrew pulled a few key moments from that series, so we could celebrate the Mets misery, while also celebrating our own teams' success. the best part was hearing how dejected

Eagles Remain Undefeated

Was it pretty? No. But the Eagles beat the Arizona Cardinals to remain undefeated. Jalen Hurts scored two TDS, Cameron Dicker the Kicker added on some field goals in his first NFL action, and it all ended with the Cardinals kicker sending it wide right. The play-by-play announcer unfortunately did not do a great job. But it was still a win worth celebrating. So Andrew gathered some of the key moments from the game to wrap up today's Audio Vault.
