LAKE MEAD NATIONAL RECREATION AREA, NEVADA – AUGUST 12: A Perseid meteor streaks over a sandstone outcropping at Redstone in the Pinto Valley wilderness area on August 12, 2021 in the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, Nevada. The annual display, known as the Perseid shower because the meteors appear to radiate from the constellation Perseus in the northeastern sky, is a result of Earth’s orbit passing through debris from the comet Swift-Tuttle.

With the Eagles and The John Kincade Show crew heading to Arizona this week, we are busy packing and preparing for our trip to the desert. The Eagles will play in perfect conditions on Sunday, but life outside in the desert climate can be brutal.

I love desert golf. The ball flies further, you get more assisted roll and you don’t have to worry about playing in the elements. As long as the sunshine doesn’t bother you, it is some of my favorite times on the links.

Get out of a pool, you are dry in under 5 minutes. The wetness is soaked up by the dry air and the rays of the sun. Fall is an amazing time to visit with lower temps and crisp air at night.

The Eagles are facing a Cardinals team that is a big underdog at home and has already lost its first two home contests. I’m seeing this as a very dangerous matchup. Early in the week I’m not overly optimistic, but this crew looks up to any challenge.

Here are ten things you may not know about desert living. If you are heading to Arizona with us and Philly Sports Trips we will see you there!

You can follow all the fun and hi jinx on our Fanatic Social Media outlets.
