Couple Ruins Waterfall for Gender Reveal
At this point we mostly all hate gender reveals. It was cute when it was just couples buying a cake with colored frosting inside. But it has gone too far. Couples have caused wildfires with them. And now, one couple thought it was a good idea to dye a natural waterfall, that is over 60 ft tall, blue to reveal the gender of their baby. And if you thought them just ruining a natural beauty out of a need for attention was bad, it gets worse. The waterfall goes into a river, the is the water source for locals in Brazil. They posted videos of the selfish act but quickly deleted them once it started to go viral and everyone called them out for their careless actions.
But it was too late. The video was already out there, and now they are in hot water with Brazilian Authorities. An investigation has opened to look into the environmental impact of the stunt. If it is found they contaminated the drinking supply, those responsible could be charged with environmental crimes. But for now, a village that was already experiencing droughts has a compromised water supply. But congrats on it being a boy. Maybe when he is older he can visit his parents in a Brazilian prison.
And for anyone out there planning some elaborate gender reveal, please don't.
Neil Young Doesn't Seem To Be a Fan Of Beck's Parody
Tom Brady and his Bucs are facing Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs this week. And to promote the game, Beck took part in a promo for the game, where he sang a parody of Neil Young's song "Old Man," mocking the difference in age between Brady and Mahomes.
But one person who did not seem to enjoy the cover was Young himself. While he did call out Beck by name, he did put out an Instagram post calling back to another song of his. He posts a screenshot from “This Note’s For You,” in which he’s holding up a beer bottle with a label that reads “Sponsored by Nobody.”
Neil has often been outspoken about using his songs to promote products. And now he seems to be throwing some shade at Beck for using his song to promote an NFL game. So is this him just being a crotchety old man? Or does he have a real gripe?
McDonald's Launches Happy Meal For Adults
The thing you have been waiting for is here. As an adult, you can now walk into a McDonald's, and order an adult Happy Meal. They have paired with Cactus Plant Flea Market to design the adult Happy Meal. For those unfamiliar, Cactus Plant Flea Market is a fashion label. And now they have teamed up with Mcdonald's with a new box design for adult meals. The combos come with a designed box, a choice between Big Mac or Nuggets, fries, a drink, and one of four limited edition Mcdonald's figurines.
