KNUTSFORD, ENGLAND – AUGUST 08: A White-tailed bumblebee, Bombus lucorum, collects nectar from lavendar on August 08, 2022 in Knutsford, England. Through evolutionary development honey bees have become one of the most finely tuned and organised insects on the planet. They play a vital role in the pollination of the food we eat but changing weather, alongside increased land use, imported pests and the chemicals used in farming have decimated the population of British honey bees.

Today she had one about bees finding a home in the Tampa Bay Bucs goal post, a bargain hunter finding a 700-year-old manuscript, and someone printing their resume on a cake.
Bargain Hunter Scores a 700-Year-old Medieval Manuscript
A bargain hunter found quite the score when he went to an estate sale in Maine. He went there hoping to get some kitchen appliances, a bookshelf, and vintage clothing. He walked away with something that could be worth over $10 thousand. Will Sideri discovered a manuscript, that is dated to be from 1275. Over 700 years old. Not only is it very old, but it is in great condition. And he got it at a cheap $75. I put those numbers in a calculator, and it tells me he made a lot of money on that deal.
Bees Invade Tampa Bay Buccaneers Goal Post
Not the bees! A group of bees had the best seats in the house during the Packers- Bucs game on Sunday. They made their nest in one of the goalposts of Raymond James Stadium. Thankfully it did not impact play. The Packers scored one touchdown in the end zone, but it is unclear if any of the players even noticed the bees. Stadium personnel are attempting to capture the Queen Bee. Once the Queen Bee is captured and moved, the rest of the hiver should leave on their own. Because of the rare nature of the bees living in the goalpost, they can not just spray the nest to kill them. Florida is home to over 300 bee species. And 29 of those can be found nowhere else in the world. Until they can move the nest, it is probably best if Cody Parkey avoids kicking in this stadium.
Woman Applies To Work At Nike with resume Printed Onto a Cake
I was always told that when you apply for a job, you want to make your resume stand out. Especially when you are applying to a giant company that will see hundreds of applicants for a single job opening. More than they can even read. Well, one would be Nike employee certainly took that advice. She sent them her resume printed on top of a cake. Not only does it make her resume stand out, but it has the added benefit of bribing whoever is in charge of the employment decisions.
And the Door Dash driver she hired was so impressed by this woman's hustle, she went the extra mile to make sure it was delivered directly to the hiring manager. No word yet on if Nike hired her. But you have to respect both the creativity from her and the hustle from the delivery driver.
