What's your favorite scary movie?

Every day on "The Best Show Ever?" they ask the question of the day. Yesterday we asked what State, outside of NJ, PA, and DE, you want to would live in. And today the question was "What's your favorite Scary Movie?"

The reason for this being the question today is that it is Stephen King's Birthday, thought by many to be the master of horror. He has written Horror Classics like IT, The Shining, Pet Sematary, The Stand, and Misery, among many, many more. And a lot of his novels, have been adapted into movies. So we figured it was appropriate to honor the Horror icon with a horror-themed question of the day. And here are the answers from the members of the show.

  • Hunter's answer was The Grudge. It was an adaption of the Japanese film 'Ju-on' and was released in 2004.
  • Ricky Bo said It. It was adapted twice, once as a TV movie, with the titular clown played by Tim Curry. But more recently there was two theatrical films, with Pennywise played by Bill Skarsgaard. Ricky did not specify which of the two versions he was referring to. But he did mention how its now impossible to look at a swear grate during a rain storm and not think about that scene.
  • Jen said Seven, which is perhaps known for the "What's in the Box?" scene.
  • Tyrone said Scream. He said because it felt like something that could happen. Teens having someone in their school murdered, then having to go back the next day and wonder if they are in class with the killer. The Meta-horror comedy actually features the line "What's your favorite scary movie?" in it several times.
