What’s Brewing With Jen- Taking An Alligator For a Walk
See what was brewing with Jen Scordo Today. Every day on “The Best Show Ever?”, Jen reports on 3 weird and interesting recent news stories. Today she discusses a Mascot perhaps being too rough with pee wee football players, Zac Brown kicking a fan out for being too rowdy, and a woman taking an alligator for a walk. Here are today’s stories.
Braves Mascot Runs Over Children To Score Touchdown
At halftime of the Falcons-Jaguars pre-season came this past weekend, and the Falcons did something seemingly fun. They had a local pee wee team, face off vs a team of Mascots. But one of the Mascots had its eyes set straight on the endzone, and perhaps got a bit too rough, as you can see below.

The Braves Mascot Bloopy didn’t hold back. He was running over kids like he was LaGarrette Blount. Some saw it as funny. Others found little kids being bowled over by an adult dressed up as a mascot less funny. However, it should be mentioned that no kids were injured, apart from the shame of being stiff-armed by that weird-looking thing. The guys on the show, plus Jen, seemed to be more on the side that this was funny, but agreed Bloopy is still a weird-looking mascot.
Zac Brown Kicks Out Philadelphian For Being Too Rowdy
The Zac Brown band recently performed at Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. The show was going over well until brown started performing his iconic song “Chicken Fried.” That was when Zac Brown noticed one adult in the crowd screaming at both a young girl and then an older woman, he stopped the show. Brown immediately stopped the music and demanded the man’s removal. Security removed the man before Zac Brown picked up where he left off singing Chicken Fried.
Walking an Alligator
People like to keep some weird pets. But what would you do if you saw someone walking an alligator on a leash around your neighborhood? That was the case in Love Park in Philadelphia recently. Parkgoers were taken aback when they witnessed a young girl walking through the fountains with her pet gator.
The gator’s name is Wally, and he is an emotional support animal. His owner, Joie Henney, credits the gator for helping him overcome depression. Wally is a registered emotional support animal. Henney claimed gators are easier to train than dogs. Parkgoers seemed to enjoy the presence of the gator after the initial shock, and Wally apparently happily received pets from them.
