One good thing (maybe the only positive from the weekend for the Phillies) was an announcement during Sunday night baseball. The Orioles and Red Sox were featured this week but what was unique was the game was held in Williamsport Pennsylvania, home of the Little League World Series. This has become a trend for MLB with holding a game during the tournament. Its an awesome tradition. And the Phillies will be apart of it next season.

The Phillies and Nationals will battle it out next season in what is likely to be a home game for the Phils. Im not talking technically, more so proximity. The Phillies played the Mets in 2018 in a game that they lost. Which, if you watched this past series it should come as no surprise.

Amazingly the only player on the Phillies 40 man that has appeared in the Little League World Series is Scott Kingery....so there's that.
