On where Ugo Amadi, who they traded JJAW for, fits in Eagles' plans
"They see him as a defensive back. So I don't know if they view him quite as a safety or a corner yet. It seems like it's more of both. The versatility was something that was intriguing to them. So I think they are just going to bring him in and see where he fits. If they figure out he's one of the best 53 and can play both positions, then that may be something that's appealing to them."
On if Jalen Reagor Could Be The Next To Be Moved After JJAW
"If a trade materializes that makes sense, they would do it. I don't think there's any doubt about that. But there is also a cap punishment if you cut him where you are on the hook for like $4 million. Then you have to view how good is her. You know he isn't going to be a 1 or a 2 on this team, but is anyone better for the 5th WR spot than Jalen Reagor? So those are the things they are trying to balance. I have no issue if they were to go in and have Reagor as the 5th WR. But they are obviously realistic at this point about what they have"
On Jalen Hurts Performance In Game On
"Couple caveats. Number one it s the preseason. two, it's the Jets. The Jets have a habit of making people look good. That being said, that was kind of the perfect illustration of Jalen Hurts at his best, and what ideally the Eagles would want him to be. Which is this mixture of creator and distributor. There are some plays where the play calls for him to be just the distributor, the point guard. The play says to get the ball to this guy. There are other ones, like the first one from scrimmage where the initial read isn't there, he flushes out to the right, he finds Quez Watkins, and it's a 28-yard strike. That balance is a little tough to always capture, but think it's a great example of it... We're seeing some development from Hurts. You can't go over the top but is there progress from last summer to this one, absolutely."
