ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter did his weekly hit (Wednesdays at 8:10am) with the John Kincade Show where he discussed all the things going on in the NFL. One of the big stories was the recent news that former Pro-Bowl wide receiver Demaryius Thomas had CTE when he died. The impact that this most recent case could have on the sport was discussed early.

But then the conversation switched to the division rivals and the newcomers in the division. Brian Dobell is taking over as head coach for the Giants and Carson Wentz is taking over as the quarterback for the Washington Commanders. Adam was asked what he is hearing about both men and the reception they have gotten so far from their respective teams

"Its all happy talk when someone comes in initially," Schefty told the guys discussing Brian Dobell. "(The Giants) needed an overhaul & they're getting an overhaul."

As for former Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, and how he is fitting in with Washington;

"He has a lot to prove. They went all in on him early. If they had waited it out they could have had Baker Mayfield for a song. They paid full price! I dont think anyone has huge expectations for him except those in Washington."
