The Flyers have found their new coach.
The team will officially hire John Tortorella to be behind the bench and lead the franchise back to the Stanley Cup. This, according to Kevin Weekes of ESPN. The deal is for 4 years.

Tortorella most recently served as an analyst. This after a 6-year stint in Columbus. Tortorella’s best years were in Tampa where he led the Lightning to the team’s first Stanley Cup. He has a 673-541 record. Tortorella replaces Mike Yeo who was given the interim tag after Alain Vigneault was let go during the season.
Tortorella is a no-nonsense coach who wears his emotions on his sleeve. He will be tasked with a MAJOR rebuild though, something he really hasn’t done since his first season in Columbus.
