The Flyers season finally comes to an end after a 4-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators. The Flyers did put up a good fight tonight in the first two periods. Owen Tippett was able to secure the Flyers second and last goal of their season allowing them to go into the 3rd period tied at 2.

With 20 minutes of play left for the season; Brady Tkachuk gives the Senators a 3-2 lead. The Flyers pulled goalie, Martin Jones, and  Ottawa was able to finalize the game with an empty netter making it 4-2.

After 82 games the Flyers finished 25-46-11. With only 61 points the Orange and Black landed in last in the Metropolitan Division. To put it in perspective, the first place team of the Metro, Carolina Hurricanes, have 116 points.

With the season finale wrapped up for the team on Broad; there will be a lot of work that needs to be done before the Flyers return in the fall.
