ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade Show for his weekly hit (usually its at 8:10am, but this week it was 7:10 because Schefty had a flight.) Schefter was heading to Indianapolis for the NFL combine for the first time since 2020. The guys talked a little about teams philosophies going into the combine but then segwayed into the big topic for the Birds; Russell Wilson.

"I dont view it was a likely scenerio," Schefter told the guys. "I wont rule anything out with the Eagles though. Do I think Russell WIlson will be the QB for the Eagles in 2022? I do not."

Ok....so no Russell Wilson. But the Eagles do hold 3 first round picks in the upcoming draft. Could they use one of those picks to draft a quarterback?

"No I dont believe that. What I do believe is more likely is the Eagles trade one of those first round picks to further arm themselves in next years draft when the QB crop is expected to be better than this years."
