UFC Vegas 49 Betting Guide
We have….a gross card this weekend. Theres no real way to put it. January and February are usually bad months for movies. Movie studio’s put the crap they know isnt very good in those months. Every once in a while you get a really good film but for the most part everything that comes out is trash. The UFC is similar because these recent cards are horrible. BUT it doesnt mean you cant win money on it so lets break it down!
Here are some specifics. The prelims begin at 4pm and the main card begins at 7pm. Everything can be seen on ESPN+

Gregory Rodrigues vs. Armen Petrosyan
Petrosyan comes in making his UFC debut but Rodrigues has been there and done that. Hes riding a 4 fight win streak and two of those have come in the UFC. One with a knockout and one with a decision. So going into late rounds isn’t an issue. For Petrosyan I think endurance could be an issue. I like Rodrigues by decision.

Priscila Cachoeira vs. Ji Yeon Kim
This fight being on the main card shows you how gross this card is. Both of these women, while being some of the best in the world, arent some of the best in the UFC. Cachoeira SHOULD win this one but dont bet the house

Misha Cirkunov vs. Wellington Turman
Grappler vs. Grappler. Neither of these guys have much knockout power which helps Turman who tends to get caught early by big punchers. I think this is going to be a razor close fight, and I think Cirkunov takes it based on the size advantage. Turman is a natural 185’er. Cirkunov has wins at 205. Its a big cut, and that could effect him. But this is going to be fought in the clinch and its going to come down to who has the better tank.

Islam Makhachev vs. Bobby Green
Mad respect for Bobby Green taking this fight on short notice and stepping up to fight a guy that no one wants to fight. With that said, he gets finished and mauled.
