A great tradition in football is around this time every year players decide they dont really feel like playing in the meaningless Pro-Bowl. Im happy to report we are in that time right now! Two Eagles are benefiting from this as kicker Jake Elliott and defensive end Josh Sweat are headed to their first Pro-Bowls

Jake Elliott had an incredible bounce back season hitting 30 of 33 field goal attempts (over a 90% clip.) He also was perfect on extra-points. Elliott is replacing Matt Gay.

Josh Sweat had a breakout season in 2021 and was rewarded with a 3 year contract extension for $40 million. He can now add "Pro-Bowler" to his resume. In 2021 Sweat had 45 tackles and 7.5 sacks in 16 games. He is replacing Nick Bosa.

Elliott and Sweat are joining Javon Hargrave, Darius Slay and Jason Kelce
