This seems like a situation where you can bash a family member, but when someone else does you get ready to go to war. OR its a Pro Bowl cornerback putting a crappy cornerback in his place after the crappy cornerback threw stones from his glass house.

On Sunday The current Giants Saints Panthers Bengals cornerback Eli Apple took shots at both DeVonta Smith and Eagles QB Jalen Hurts. The shot was mainly aimed at Jalen Hurts, but what sparked this vitreol was a Smith tweet from 4 years ago.

Enter Darius Slay.

Darius Slay is not Eli Apple. Darius Slay is actually a really REALLY good cornerback. He knows what makes a good cornerback and he knows what makes a bad cornerback. Slay took to twitter to not only defend his teammates, but also to remind Apple that he falls in the latter.

Apple is now listed as questionable for the AFC Championship game after being bodied by the 3 time Pro-Bowler.
