The city of Philadelphia has put in a recent mandate for indoor dining that will start January 3rd. This is on the heels of rising Covid-19 cases and what many health experts are predicting a winter wave of positive tests. All of this effects the Wells Fargo Center which is located within city limits. Because the Wells Fargo Center sells food and drink, it will require patrons to show proof of vaccination.

Health Commissioner Dr. Cheryl Bettigole told the media;

"with hundreds of thousands of Philadelphians who are eligible for vaccine but not yet fully vaccinated, we need this additional safety measure to make us safer and avoid some of the worst outcomes we've seen in other states."

For the first two weeks the Wells Fargo Center will accept a negative Covid test within 24 hours but January 18th you'll need proof of vaccination. So plan accordingly Philly, and stay safe!
