ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade show for his weekly segment (8:10am every Wednesday) and was asked about the upcoming draft class. It looks more and more likely that the Eagles will be looking for a quarterback and the draft could be where the Eagles address it. But Schefter was bullish on the crop of QB’s

“This is not a great year for quarterbacks in the draft. And you have to keep that in mind.”

well then maybe the Eagles will have to look at the trade market. The trade market should be robust with the likes of Aaron Rodgers, Deshaun Watson, and Russell Wilson. Wilson has been the apple of many Eagles fans’ eyes, but he hasnt played well. Schefter commented on what he thinks the issue is with the former MVP.

“Something is not right. Hes flailing and hes been struggling for about a year. Im sure that explains part of it, but it doesnt explain it all. Im sure part of it is they dont have a run game, so i think thats part it it. The finger is part of it. And the vibe there is part of it.”

But Russell Wilson has a no-trade clause, and he would have to waive that no-trade clause if the Eagles trade for him.

“I believe he would waive it,” Schefter told John and the gang.
