Sixers

It’s not like the Sixers DONT believe Ben Simmons is dealing with a mental issue, they just want to be kept in the loop. ESPN’s Ramona Shelbourne broke a story earlier this week that started the Sixers we’re growing increasingly frustrated with the fact that Ben Simmons was refusing the teams help to get him back on the court. Simmons IS utilizing the help of mental health professionals via the NBAPA, the Sixers want Simmons to use the teams doctors.

On Friday ESPNs Adrian Wojnarowski broke the story that the Sixers fined Ben Simmons $360 thousand dollars (a game check) for missing Thursdays games against the Pistons. The fines will continue until Simmons accepts the teams help

This is pretty simple for the Sixers; if you want to get paid, then tell us how you plan to get back on the court. Many fans have been skeptical of Simmons mental issues. Claiming This was a way for Simmons/Klutch sports to get around the fines. And it did work. Simmons resumed getting paid after he addressed the team. But the Sixers must have felt like Simmons might claim he’s not “ready to return” all season while getting paid to dribble a ball while riding the elliptical.
