We have a good ol fashioned STAND OFF! With Sixers training camp set to begin next week the question on every fans mind is Will Ben Simmons report. The divorce seems to be agreed upon but Simmons’ value is at an all-time low. So Daryl Morey & Elton Brand would like Ben Simmons to report, play, and rebuild his value. But Simmons has other plans.

According to ESPN’s NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski Ben Simmons will NOT report and intends to never wear a Sixers uniform again. Simmons hasn’t spoken to the Sixers since late August when he told them he wanted out.

The Sixers will fine Simmons, but he doesn’t really care. He’s perfectly content with waiting. Now there are teams interested. Minnesota has been mentioned, as has Sacremento. But none of those teams have meant Morey/Brand’s steep price. And then there is the Houston Rockets who, according to some guy I’ve never heard of (but he has a blue check on Twitter so he must be important) named Evan Dammarell the Rockets want to get a deal done before camp & John Wall would be heading to Philly

Take this report with a massive grain of salt because I won’t pretend to have ever heard of this guy before today. But that would be gross.

we’ll keep you updated on “Simmons Watch”
