Adam Schefter joined the John Kincade show for his weekly segment (8:10am) and discussed the Eagles week 1 victory against the Falcons. The Eagles dismantled the Falcons 32-6 and Schefter took this opportunity to pat himself on the back a bit.

“I said all along theyd be better than people thought. And Ive never wavered on that. But as one coach told me over the weekend, dont read too much into week 1.”

As for what Schefter saw from the Eagles;

“I saw a quarterback who I think is a little better than people think. What I saw Sunday were the things that Ive heard. Ive heard the offensive line is really strong. Ive heard the defensive line gets great pressure. Ive heard they have speed at wide receiver.”

Schefter then went into what the Eagles can expect from the 49ers on Sunday, as well as what the restructuring of some contracts could mean for players who may be looking for an extension. For the full interview listen below
